The primary years are split into lower, middle, and upper primary - lower being years one and two, middle being years three and four, and upper being years five and six where children are introduced to the prospect of secondary school. They are also introduced to the idea of external exams, such as common entrance, SATs, and the 11+ examinations.

The school-learning programme at our primary level is all-encompassing and challenging. We concentrate on the fundamental areas of English, (such as listening/speaking, reading, handwriting, spelling, grammar, comprehension, and creative writing), mathematics (mechanical, problem, and mental), and science. Social studies, history, geography, religious education, home economics, music, art, verbal reasoning, ICT, physical education and French are also taught.

As part of the school physical education programme, we offer our children, in years one through six, the opportunity to attend regular swimming sessions. The children are taught to become competent and confident in water through the use of recognised strokes, personal survival skills, and distance challenges.
