Playgroup

Children between three months and two years are welcomed into our school playgroup. We offer a unique ‘home to home’ environment where individuality is cherished and children are well cared for. Playgroup children participate in sensory learning; the five senses are used to explore their surroundings, whilst independently and confidently cultivating key skills, such as walking, talking, and listening.

Children at playgroup level are motivated to develop their social and communication skills, and are introduced to a variety of activities including water play, construction activities, and storytelling, all of which improve their listening skills. Creative activities, such as painting, sticking, and reading to children also play crucial roles at this foundation stage.

Playgroup children learn during normal school hours and are just as much a part of the school community as the older children. Parents are assured with the knowledge that their children are in safe hands whilst they are at work.
